Italian artist and photographer Margot Errante will host at Novalis Contemporary Art an art performance entitled “I, Erotic”. The artist will take Polaroid portraits of her audience during a one-on-one conversation about their sexual habits. They will be then asked to write one of their answers on an anonymous paper that will be randomly paired with someone else's face. The final work will consist of a composite of all portraits carrying a stranger's thought, or desire or sexual fantasy. On the last day, each participant will be allowed to take his/her own portrait and paired sentence. The purpose of the performance is to break our judgmental attitude towards other’s behaviour, especially in regards of one of the most sensitive and controversial aspects of our lives: sex and sexual identity.
